State-wise Business Environment Rankings:
- Andhra Pradesh is steadily emerging as an investment-friendly state, with the coalition government creating a conducive business environment.
- According to rankings released by the Economist Intelligence Unit, the state secured fourth position in India with a score of 6.9, tied with Karnataka and Delhi.
- The top three positions were occupied by Tamil Nadu (7.4), Gujarat (7.3), and Maharashtra (7.1). Telangana stood seventh with a score of 6.8.
- The rankings are based on an assessment of the business environment in Indian states for the period 2025–29, covering 15 major states and assigning scores on a scale of 1 to 10.
- The evaluation considers factors such as economic conditions, political stability, infrastructure, regulatory framework, and domestic and foreign investment climate.
