- In what can be seen as a step to bring Ugadi cheer to job-aspirants, the Andhra Pradesh government has released a job-calendar to fill 10,060 posts in various departments for the year ahead.
- “The job-festival is being announced as a Ugadi gift for the youth of the State, fulfilling the promise made the in Yuva Galam Padayatra,’’ Nara Lokesh, AP Minister for Human Resource Development, said in a tweet on Thursday.
- The release of the notifications and examinations would be conducted in line with the schedule given in the job-calendar, he said, adding a job-calendar would be released every year on Ugadi.
- According to the calendar, the issue of notifications will begin from May 15, 2026 to fill 1,500 vacancies in higher education, while the notifications for recruitment for posts in Group 1, Group II cadre, Engineering, Home, Education and other departments have been scheduled in August, September and October.
- The syllabus for all examinations will also be released soon. The job-aspirants should register their details in the Naipunya Portal of the State Government.
